Monday Night is Film Night (27th May)

Just in case you didn’t spot this, we restart the Film Club on Monday 27th at 7 for 7:30. If you’d like to take advantage of the cheaper ticket prices via membership, please bring £30 each to the screening.

On Monday 27th we will resume the Film Club with a strong feature. The film is based on the true story of a black police officer who infiltrated the Ky Klux Klan.  BlackKKlansman isn’t as scary as it sounds, and more easily watchable than Ebbing Missouri.

As this is the start of a new season we will offer the same deal for membership: £30 up front for six films, or £6 on the door.  The hall now has black-out features and the sound equipment has an additional speaker to improve the delivery of dialogue.

BlackKKlansman (Viewers 7.5/10 | Critics 83%)

Ron Stallworth, the first African-American detective on the Colorado Springs Police Department, resolves to make a name for himself and a difference in his community. He bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan.
