I’ve noticed that the Regal in Minehead and the Dunster & Stogumber Film Clubs have resumed screenings. In theory we could also resume films and theatre at the hall – provided we position the seats 2m apart and wear masks and follow the guidelines for hiring the hall. We would need a plan to run each event with volunteers to help with setting up and taking down the seats and equipment.
Additionally, there would need to be an undertaking from a minimum group of people to cover the approx. £100 cost of each screening, plus any hall hire charges. Perhaps a core group of people who pay upfront as members.
