As you may know, I will be holding a rather special tea party for local elderly guests on Thursday 13th December, and I am on a quest to find 10 pairs of sugar tongs for the occasion! I wondered if anyone in the village had such a thing lurking in the back of a cutlery drawer. Nothing of any value, please. We will using wonderful mismatched fine bone china at the tea party, and sugar tongs for the bowls of sugar cubes would be rather apt.
