What personal data we collect

Our website does not collect personal data unless you sign up for email updates. If you do want email updates you will be asked to supply a first name, last name and email address.

The website uses cookies to collect data whilst you use the site purely for the correct functioning of the website, none of which is personal information.

What we use personal data for

We use your data to send email updates for news items on the site.

The basis on which we process your data

By signing up for email updates we acknowledge that it is in your legitimate interest to receive those emails.

When we share your data with others

We will not share your personal data.

How we keep your personal data safe

Access to your personal data held by the website is protected by passwords which are enforced to be strong, both for your own access and for administrators. Data held outside the website is also password protected and encrypted.

When your data is stored outside the EU

We hold and process your personal data within the Mailchimp service which automates outgoing emails.  Mailchimp is registered with the EU – UE Privacy Shield agreement.

How long we keep your data for

Your details remain within the Mailchimp list until you ask for them to be deleted. You can unsubscribe from the emails at any time and instantly, which then stops us sending you emails.

  • Delete your data
  • Restrict our use of your data
  • To object to us using your data
