Tuesday 18th February

Personal Inspirational Photographs

This is Brian Castle’s idea, and such a good one.  Please bring a copy of your photo/photos to show us and describe why it/they inspire you.

Tuesday 5th May

American Civil War Photography – A Talk by Patrick Hoyte

The American Civil War was the most widely covered conflict of the 19th century.  For the first time in history, citizens on the home front could see the actual carnage of faraway battlefields.  The photographs taken provided posterity with a comprehensive visual record of the war and its leading figures, and are still powerful images today.

Tuesday 16th June:  TBA

Tuesday 4th August

Our 3 classes at this year’s Village Flower and Produce Show on 4th August are ‘Water’, ‘Black & White, or Sepia’ and ‘Power’.  Quite broad subjects which should generate a good range of entries.

15th September: TBA

17th November:
