Christmas Party Thanks

Sincere thanks to those who kindly donated small Christmas gifts for the guests who came to my Contact the Elderly tea party at the Tithe Barn yesterday. It was a really joyful occasion with nearly 60 attending, ranging in age from 80 to a very sprightly 97 year-old. Chrissie Payne

Carol Service Reminder

All Saints' Church, Sunday 16th December at 4pm. The traditional service of lessons and carols will take place this Sunday. Please come along and enjoy a good sing, with drinks and mince pies after the service.

Funeral Announcement

The funeral of Elizabeth Ash of Quarry Field, Wootton Courtenay, will take place at 1pm on Friday 21st December, at The Sacred Heart Church in Minehead. Burial will be at Dulverton (family only). The wake will be held at Wootton Courtney Village Hall from 4pm onwards (depending on the return journey from Dulverton).
