I have just become aware that Tropiquaria are asking for donations of food for their animals.
They need eating apples (NOT cookers, as they make the tapirs ill). They use 30 a day. They also need celery, leeks, parsnips, spring greens and eggs. Apparently there is a donation bin outside their gates.
I will be making a trip to take my donation on Friday. If anyone feels that they would like to contribute anything, I am happy to take it with me. Tropiquaria are also on Facebook, where they post updates on their situation: https://www.facebook.com/tropiquariazoo/
