Message to Shareholders
Following the EGM and AGM on 22 April, I am delighted to have been confirmed as a Director of the Wootton Courtenay Villagers’ Stores Board, along with Mike Izaby-White who has agreed to be a director on an interim basis. Rob Bilson will be joining the Board officially when a share transfer is completed; Rob is currently playing a pivotal role in advising and supporting in order to deliver the agreed proposal.
It is important to strengthen and complement the work of the Board. After listening to and
talking to shareholders at recent meetings, I am convinced of the collective will to make the proposal work. Alongside this collective will there is also substantial collective wisdom. I know I do not have all of the answers and I am keen to start liaising with the shareholder group – to ask for support and to invite ideas and suggestions.
Rather than use the Village website for all communications I am keen to pull together a shareholder email circulation list – so that the Board can communicate directly with shareholders. This will be totally confidential, I will use “blind copy“ in all email correspondence and your email address will not be seen by others on the list.
