Monday 12th September
Thinking Allowed (TA) will be resuming on Monday 12th September, 6.30pm for 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. Drinks available from the bar from 6.30pm.
The topic will be the one we agreed back in March, “What it means to be a human being”. For those who have not attended TA, it is an informal discussion group where we air topics of common interest. We have lively and rich discussions which enable us to hear different views and contribute and share our own understandings. There will be brief notes posted on the website towards the end of next week which will get the discussion started, though these do not determine the direction in which it may go. We have a ‘poet laureate’ for the group who brings along a poem on the topic. We finish by 8pm. All are welcome.
