Porlock Weir Sea Festival

September 24th 2022, from 2.00p.m. – 6.30p.m.

A wonderful afternoon of music, activities and entertainment at Porlock Weir, including live theatre by Clementines Theatre Company and Sea Shanties by The Barnacle Buoys and Hugills. There will be a Town Cry, stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking with Exmoor Adventures, archery, wood carvings by Mike Leach, an RNLI stand, and oyster shucking demonstrations by Porlock Bay Oyster Company. Boat trips with Porlock Weir Charters will be available, along with a sea-themed treasure hunt and talks by Exmoor Natural History Society. Porlock Weir Gig Club are holding a Regatta and the boats will be arriving in Porlock Weir at high tide.

Food and refreshments available at all outlets in Porlock Weir.

Minibus transport will be provided between 2.00p.m. – 8.00p.m. from Central Car Park, Porlock (TA24 8PH) as parking is limited at Porlock Weir.

Some activities may be affected, on the day, by inclement weather or unfavourable sea conditions.

This event has been funded by Somerset Council, Community Renewal Fund.
