‘Songs of Praise’ will take place in All Saints’ Church this Sunday, October 9th, at 11am. As usual, there will be an opportunity to choose and sing your favourite hymn.
At the end of the service, Taunton’s young musician of the year 2022, 16-year-old violinist Anthony Knight, will play Bach’s Partita No.2, Allemande and Sarabande, and Bach’s Sonata No.3, Largo. Anthony has been playing in churches throughout Somerset to raise funds for the DEC Ukraine Appeal. All of the collection from this service will be donated to the appeal. Anthony has a family link with Wootton Courtenay, as his great-grandfather, George Morgan, was Churchwarden at All Saints’ Church for many years. Please join us on this special occasion to help raise some much-needed funds for the Ukraine Appeal.
