It has been suggested by Brian Castle that it would be lovely if the village of Wootton Courtenay had a memorial to our longest serving sovereign, Queen Elizabeth II. It would be good if people could put on their thinking caps and come up with ideas for this memorial, and where to put it in the village.
If the cost of this is to come out of the parish council budget, we have to make a decision by the next parish council meeting on 9th November, as this is when the precept for 2023 is set. Alternatively it could come from village donations. Let me know what you think.
