The Ho Ho Ho Down held recently in the Village Hall was a great success, despite the arctic conditions which sadly prevented some ticket holders joining us. Nevertheless, there was a good attendance with plenty of dancing and singing!
We would like to say a special thank you to Brian Heaton for the music and calling, Jackie for entertaining us on her piano, Helen for designing the poster and especially Sylvia and Edward from Glenmore Bakery who subsidised the delicious pasties and donated some mince pies.
Also thank you to those who donated raffle prizes, and those who helped set up and clear up. We raised £220.00 for the Air Ambulance.
