Elections to the new Council will be held on 4th May 2023, with 20 councillors representing 14 wards. In preparation for this, SWT is hosting an event open to anyone interested in becoming a councillor, regardless of experience. Local people are being encouraged to find out more about becoming a councillor for the new Taunton Parish/Town Council at an information event run by SWT. The new council will be formed on 1st April.
