Age UK Somerset have just released their booklet, Guide to Later Life in Somerset and North Somerset, Issue 2. This is a clearly laid out publication which covers not just the services that the charity offers, but lots of other information which could be of interest to older people, i.e. benefit claims, retirement and information about care and for carers. It’s Age UK Somerset’s 75th Anniversary this year but people still mistakenly think we are a national charity, and call us Age Concern. Perhaps this is the year we can change that.
