Coronation Celebration

Just a quick update on the Coronation Celebrations…

We’ve revised the starting time from noon to 12.30pm so those attending the church service will have time to pop home and come out again.

There has been lots of interest and sign-ups for food, so we should have a lovely spread to enjoy. In addition, my mum has baked a massive batch of scones, so we will lay on cream teas later in the afternoon.

I have an assortment of board games if anyone fancies playing them at the table, and we’ve now had an offer of hoopla, for some gentle fun. Alternatively, just eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company.

We will be setting up gazebos on the Saturday and, depending on the weather, possibly a larger marquee, so potentially we might need some help.

Here’s hoping the sun will shine for us all.
