Dogs on the Playing Field

Can I politely ask that people who take their dogs up to the playing field while pursuing other activities, please keep them under control. I have a reactive rescue dog who is always on the lead, but it seems unfair if other dogs are allowed to approach him in what appears to be an aggressive manner. Please respect the lead.
