BE AWARE:
It appears there is a TV Licence Renewal scam doing the rounds at the moment. I received an email purporting to be from TV Licensing reminding me to renew our licence as there was only a week left on our current one. Luckily, although we were away at the time, I was convinced our renewal was next month, and on checking today I found it is indeed July and that the fake licence number is totally different to our licence document.
Just thought I’d put a note out to you all as it was a very convincing email and our TV licence payment details are likely to be one of the renewals we aren’t readily au fait with, without checking.
