Thank you to Rob Reed, who has been dropping his freshly picked, surplus vegetables up to the shop for folk to help themselves and make a donation. We have decided to collect for Cancer Research, and Liz Reed will be picking up an official collection box for us. If any other ‘growers’ would like to do the same, we will be more than happy to have them.
We have also planted up lots of different herbs which have been donated to us, the idea being that during shop opening times, if anyone needs fresh herbs for cooking, they can pop up to through the tea garden gate and help themselves.
The shop is gradually getting a larger variety of stock and we are trying to cover as many customer requests as possible. So please come and have a browse.
We now also have the most beautiful collection of bespoke Spalted Beech wood chopping boards, created by Jim Bruce from a tree that had to be felled at Allercott Farm, just outside Timberscombe.
Thanks again for your continued support!
