Just for fun or should it be an annual village event? The beating of the Wootton Courtenay parish boundary took place on Monday 10th: 20.5 km (12.8 miles) with a height gain of 700m (2,300 ft).
First home, running for Western Au, Matt Silvester, with a slight deviation, in 2hrs 45mins. 2nd, Amy Silvester for the Dual Citizens and helping the old boy around in 2hrs 55mins, and in 3rd place in 3hrs – Ol’ Mart for the Wandering Woottoners.
