You may already be aware that my husband, Nick Westcott, very sadly died in June after a courageous 15 month battle with pancreatic cancer. At only 64 years old, this was a devastating blow for both of us. You can read more information about Nick here https://www.wildponywhispering.co.uk/nick-westcott-tribute
During this year, Nick and I worked out a good plan for me to continue with the farm, Exmoor Pony Project and Exmoor Compost and we both felt that every possible effort should be put into safeguarding and protecting the Exmoor pony herd and the work we do to help the breed.
So, I want to let you know that our wonderful, dark, friable, easy to handle, well-matured peat free Exmoor Compost will be available this autumn and proceeds from sales help to support and safeguard the Exmoor pony herd. More info about the compost here https://www.wildponywhispering.co.uk/ExmoorCompost
It’s an excellent, all round growing medium and I do hope you will consider using it again.
Currently, the compost is still available at £7.50 a bag (circa 25 litres) and, where possible, we really appreciate if you can collect bags from the farm here in Luccombe. The bags are tree-tied and stand upright in the car boot, so are good to travel. We can organise some local deliveries, at cost, and it’s helpful if there’s a minimum order of 10 bags, or gardeners group together for us to drop off at one point.
Please do let me know if you’d like to place an order. We have some bags available at the moment and will be screening and bagging all through the autumn. Thank you.
