Porlock Weir Sea Festival

SEPTEMBER 9th 2023. 12.00 pm – 4.00 pm

The Sea Festival is a wonderful afternoon of music, activities and entertainment at Porlock Weir for all the family, including live theatre by Porlock Pantomime and Drama Society, sea shanties by The Barnacle Buoys; archery and kayaking with Exmoor Adventures; wood carvings by Mike Leach; family fun with Wild Wellies; Town Cry; oyster shucking demonstrations by Porlock Bay Oyster Company; an RNLI stand; Exmoor Search and Rescue Team; National Coastwatch, and talks by Exmoor Natural History Society. Porlock Weir Gig Club will be in attendance, and Porlock Weir Sailing Club will be dressing their boats.

Food and refreshments available at all outlets in Porlock Weir.

Minibus transport (£2.00 charge will apply) will be provided between 11.00 am – 5.00 pm from Central Car Park, Porlock (TA24 8PH) as parking is limited at Porlock Weir.

Some activities may be affected, on the day, by inclement weather or unfavourable sea conditions.
