Somerset Armed Forces Covenant Partnership Conference
Please join us at this year’s Somerset Armed Forces Covenant Partnership conference on Tuesday 17th October, at The Canalside Centre, Marsh Lane, Bridgwater TA6 6LQ.
The event is jointly organised between Somerset Council and NHS Somerset, and will attract delegates and representatives from across the public, private and voluntary sectors. Organisations and individuals with an interest and stake in the welfare and support of the military community are invited to attend the day which will run from 10.30am (arrival from 9.30) till 4.00pm.
The conference will:
· Showcase established and developing Somerset armed forces projects
· Provide networking opportunities for organisations supporting the armed forces community
· Improve understanding of the challenges faced by the armed forces community, help understand the offers of armed forces and other voluntary sector charities and explore how we can all work better together.
· Explore the ways Somerset can celebrate its military connections and communities, and the opportunities presented by having established bases in the county.
