Covid Notification

Having gone over to Huish Champflower Village Hall for the 10 Parishes Art Festival, I have come down with Covid. I tested positive yesterday morning. I’m not feeling too bad, just tired and achey.

Mark has tested negative so far and feels fine. He will continue to test daily and he has sanitised the shop. I’m self-isolating and getting stuck in to the accounts (so at least something positive has come out of it!) I will not be back in the shop until I have had two negative tests.

I really hope I haven’t passed it on to anyone in Wootton Courtenay. As far as the shop goes, we would obviously like to keep it open, but we completely understand if villagers feel they don’t want to come in, under the circumstances. If necessary, we can leave newspapers outside and pass out any supplies that people would like to purchase.

On a different topic, we’d like to thank all our customers for their patience whilst we swap over to a different newspaper supplier. There have been a couple of hiccups so far, but the papers arrived on time yesterday. Fingers crossed, all will be well from this point onwards.

We have also had to switch to a new milk supplier, as our previous order of milk came via Alcombe Newsagents. The feedback so far is how lovely the milk is!
