Next Sunday, 12th November at 10.45am, is a Service of Remembrance at All Saints’ Church, Wootton Courtenay. Taking part will be residents of the village and, as well as remembering the fallen of both world wars and other conflicts, we will remember Philip Douglas, for whom Remembrance Sunday and supporting the Royal British Legion was so important. The retiring collection after the service for this year, as it has for many years past, will go to support the work of the RBL.
Please join with other villagers to mark another Remembrance Sunday in the church. If you’d like to be there to pay your respects, please be in your seats by 10.45am as the service will start promptly at that time.
