We’re lucky to be getting this show, which has been very well received over its long life touring the country. It is a personal, gentle show about music and the solace one can find in it.
In 2002 John Osbourne won a box of records in a competition on John Peel’s Radio 1 show. He has since travelled the country with this storytelling show which is an ode to radio, to those records that were once owned by John Peel, and to anyone who has found comfort in the wireless. The show is not a celebration of John Peel’s life, nor does it comment or offer an opinion on his reputation.
