I would like to say how grateful we are for the support and offers of help we have received as we plan our new production. We have, therefore, decided to present a Murder Mystery with a meal, at a date in April yet to be confirmed. By its very nature this play is much shorter than a full production, so it is perfect for newcomers to ‘have a go’! We have chosen the play; we now need to cast it.
We plan to hold a reading, in the hall, on Wednesday January 17th at 7.30pm. This is just for people who are considering an acting role, as it may serve as an audition. All who offered support off stage will be contacted later.
The play we have chosen has 4 male and 5 female roles of varying ages. The first reading is very informal, we are just getting a feel for the play. We are a friendly, mutually supportive group and I would urge anyone who is tempted to try their hand at a bit of acting to give it a go. You never know to where it might lead!
