Anne Scullard and David Pitts (previously of this village!) would like you to know about “The Concert”.
It is at 7.30pm, Saturday, June 1st in the Regal Theatre.
A live orchestra of 18 local players will accompany a 35-strong choir and soloists of outstanding local singers. Music includes Intermezzo, Gabriels’ Oboe, Only You, the theme from Saving Private Ryan, and a number of songs from popular musicals. The orchestra will play the overture to the Merry Wives of Windsor.
Conducted by David Pitts, this will be a light-hearted, enjoyable evening of excellent music.
All profits will go to Cancer Research UK.
Tickets are £10 (from the Regal Box Office) with opportunities on the night to donate to Cancer Research.
