Table Top Sale

Saturday 4th May, 10.30am – 4.00pm

The merry, merry month of May has arrived and, with it, All Saints’ Church’s table top sale this Saturday in the village hall, starting at 10.30am. There will be a variety of stalls (tables): unique artwork; photography; craftwork; handmade needlework items; bric-a-brac (we like a nice bit of bric-a-brac in Wootton Courtenay!); goods described by their vendor as ‘miscellaneous tat’ and not forgetting my niece and her partner, aka ‘Cardigan Curiosities’, who are trundling all the way from mid Wales to sell their small antiques and curios. There will be refreshments all day: bacon, sausage, fishfinger or egg sandwiches or baps (gluten free options available); cake; biscuits; cream teas and, of course, tea, coffee and soft drinks.

News just in: there will also be a novelty competition called ‘Guess the name of the stuffed fox’ for 50p – with a novelty prize for the closest answer! Entrance fee to access all this fun and frivolity is a mere £1 for adults, free for children. It’d be very nice to see you there. Event finishes at 4pm.
