Thankfully the sun has finally come out to play and our garden can now be used for Friday evening drinks and Thursday and Saturday coffee mornings.
It looks like it going to be another warm day today so, as an experiment, we thought we could start with coffee and cake from 10am – 12-ish and then switch over to a the bar for an early, relaxed pre- lunch drink in the beer garden for an hour or so. A nice opportunity to chill, if any of you have friends or family down for the weekend, or just another chance to catch up with each other!
As Mark will have been working the bar on Friday evening and making his superb coffees on Saturday morning, I will go from shopkeeper to barmaid, with fingers firmly crossed (although not whilst pouring the drinks!) and he can enjoy a pint in the garden.
On another subject, Kendle Farm have had to go back to delivering late on a Friday morning.
It would really help us if you pick up the fresh sausages Saturday morning or early in the following week.
