This coming Sunday we are going to give the new system a run through.
Volunteers who have kindly offered to take over dealing with the Sunday papers will be doing so in the foyer of the village hall, with pick up from 9am – 10am. The remaining papers will then be put in the rack at the village shop for collection at your convenience. However, as there is limited space in the rack it would be appreciated if as many papers as possible can be picked up from the village hall.
If there was one more volunteer on the rota, it would mean each volunteer would only need to be on newspaper duty once a month.
Thank you to everyone who has made it possible for Mark and I to have one day off together. It will make a huge difference to us, being able to fully switch off for one day of the week.
So, shop shut from this coming Sunday onwards!
