This is a reminder that the next Thinking Allowed will be next Tuesday (16th July) at 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. The bar will be open from 6.30pm.
The topic is what we make of the rise of the far right across Europe and how does it affect our lives. ‘Thinking Allowed’ is always open to exploring the big contemporary questions and this is certainly one of them. We attempt to open up and get behind issues, probing how they affect day-to-day living. Space is given for all views – those that swim against the tide are encouraged. There are some reflections by two members of the group providing some context and background for our conversation here.
All are welcome to this gathering which includes poetry, good conversation and laughter.
