Thank you to all you lovely people who supported the Harvest Festival and Supper on Sunday. From church flower ladies, through soup and pudding ladies to washing up and tidying up people – and all those who came and enjoyed and made the evening special – a massive thanks for all your support.
And a particular ‘thank you’ from me to Margaret Smith, who organises the whole shebang every year – please don’t retire!
We made…wait for it…a stonking £500 for the Church roof fund. Wow!
And here’s a trail for our next church fundraising event: back by popular demand, on Friday, 1st November from 9.30am in the village hall – ‘Breakfast for All Saints’. Now, you wouldn’t want to miss that so make a note to self.
