Beginning Monday, 25th November, at 6.30 for 7pm (til 8pm) in the Villagers’ Stores, Bishop Brian Castle will lead the first of three Advent discussions on the ‘Song of Songs’ (also known as the Song of Solomon).
This intriguing and enigmatic book from the Old Testament is not much read these days – an anthology of love poetry, as well as the most ecological book in the Bible, which might even provide a lens we can use to closely consider Exmoor and, perhaps, Planet Earth.
The meetings (25th November, 2nd and 10th December) will be relaxed and informal – with appropriate cake and an open bar. Everyone is warmly invited to join us.
