Porlock Community Library is taking part in a Somerset Libraries’ initiative this winter to provide coats for those who need them. The coat doesn’t have to be fashionable, just warm and in good enough condition that it can be used for six months to a year (so not falling apart!).
If anyone in Wootton Courtenay would like to donate a decent coat – child, adult, men’s or women’s – please leave it in the church porch and I’ll take it to Porlock Library where it’ll find a new home and a grateful owner. Please check the pockets are empty before leaving it!
Nobody benefits from this exchange – except the person who gets a warm coat for the winter months.
With thanks,
Amanda
