Firstly, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supports the village shop, Post Office bar and of course Mr B’s Coffee Shop, which continues to be a busy and fun place to be on Thursday and Saturday mornings.
We’re over a year an a half into our tenancy and the time has simply flown by, which is a great sign. We have some thoughts for tweaks to the business in the new year, which we will be running by our customers to get some feedback.
Once again the shop window Christmas card scheme will be going ahead. It is an opportunity for you to wish your fellow villagers a very Merry Christmas (all in one go) and by giving a cash donation for food to go to the West Somerset Food Cupboard, we can continue to support this worthy local cause. I will find out if they need more food before Christmas, or whether when it’s better to send food supplies in when it’s quiet in January.
