We are full steam ahead on the run up to Christmas, so we hope you will all be ok with us choosing to have limited opening hours the week between Christmas and the New Year. This will enable us to have a bit of rest and recuperation and some time to spend with family and friends.
To keep it simple we will open between 9am and 11am for folk to pick up papers and use the shop and Post Office.
Our Christmas and New Year Opening Hours:
Christmas Eve: 8.30am – 12.00 noon
Christmas Day: CLOSED
Boxing Day: CLOSED
Friday 27th Dec: 9.00am – 11.00am
Sat 28th Dec: 9.00am – 11.00am
Sat 28th: Mr B’s Coffee 10.00am – 12.30pm
Sun 29th: CLOSED
Mon 30th Dec: 9.00am – 11.00am
New Year’s Eve: 9.00am – 11.00am
New Year’s Day: CLOSED
Normal winter hours will be 8.30pm – 1.00pm from Thursday 2nd January.
Please note: no papers on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Skye’s Bar will be open as usual on the Friday evenings and there’s an extra opening on Christmas Day: 11.30am – 2pm Yippee!
Also, as a way of saying thank you, on Friday the 20th December we will be serving mulled wine and mince pies in the bar, and quite possibly some hot sausage rolls and pigs in blankets later on! This usually ties in with the Christmas carols across the road, but regardless of whether the carol singing goes ahead, will will still have the celebrations in Skye’s Bar on the 20th.
