Thank you to everyone who responded when they realised that they had received a ‘strange’ email from us. Yes, we had been hacked! Also a great thank you to all those who shared their similar experiences with us.
The hackers had got into our email and changed the password so that we could not get in. It took the expertise of BT and many hours over the weekend to restore us safely and effectively back to normal. Our email address remains the same.
How easily this can happen. Although we thought we took great care, one slip when one is tired or busy, and this can so easily happen. We have ensured that we are using ‘TWO STEP VERIFICATION’ which must have been accidentally switched off. Well worth checking!
