Somerset Sight Update

Somerset Sight is your local charity based in Taunton which supports blind and partially sighted people throughout Somerset.

At our offices in Northfield House, 51 Staplegrove Road, Taunton TA1 1DG, throughout February we have been holding Warm Space Mondays. This is FREE soup and cake in a lovely warm space, from 12.30pm to 2pm. On alternate Mondays we also host a singing group (which anyone can join, of any ability – it is not a choir), or ‘Musical Mondays’, with a different theme each time. See posters below.

Both these activities are free to visually impaired people, whether registered with us or not. We would prefer a telephone call (01823 333818) for the soup and cake to ensure we have enough in, but people are welcome to pop in.

On Monday 17th February, Chris Ball, our lovely volunteer pianist, will be presenting the Songs and Words of Noel Coward; captivating and funny songs and poems from one of the twentieth century’s most flamboyant characters.
