Thinking Allowed

Monday 10th March

The next Thinking Allowed will be next Monday (10th March) at 7pm in the Villagers’ Stores. The bar will be open from 6.30pm. The topic will be, ‘What can and should be celebrated in life?’ This topic, agreed at last month’s meeting, was chosen as an antidote to so much negativity which surrounds us. This topic is not an escape from the reality of life, but an attempt to find perspective. Notes will be posted at the end of the week. Poetry will figure, as well as a warm welcome to all.

We use the Village Shop for the meeting thanks to the kindness and generosity of Sarah and Mark. There is no charge for the use of the premises, but it was agreed at a meeting of Thinking Allowed last March (2024) that we need to contribute towards costs (especially heating) and all those who attend should be asked to contribute £1 for each meeting or £5 to cover the whole year. Could those attending the meeting next week please bring the appropriate contributions for 2025. Thanks.
