I am keen to clarify a point regarding the recent carpet fitting appeal. The Villagers’ Stores Board is very supportive and agreed to pay for the carpet fitting. However, the quote that we received was very high and I felt that I could manage the job with the right tools, and save funds that could to go towards premises maintenance costs coming up in the future.
