May “the month of sunshine, blooming flowers and endless possibilities” has arrived and, with it, All Saints’ Church’s table top sale at the Wootton Courtenay village hall on Saturday, 31st May, starting at 10.30am. There will be a variety of tables – unique artwork; photography; craftwork; quality clothing; bric-a-brac (we love a bit of bric-a-brac in Wootton Courtenay!); plants and seedlings and, of course, not forgetting Faith and Otto, aka ‘Cardigan Curiosities’, who are leaving their ‘one-stop treasure shop’ in Cardigan and trundling all the way here from West Wales to bring you their antiques, curios and vintage items.
To raise funds for the church roof, we will be selling refreshments all day: bacon, sausage, fishfinger or egg sandwiches or rolls (gluten free and vegan options available); cakes; biscuits; the odd scone and, of course, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
We will be open until 4-ish. Although there is a lot going on locally that weekend, why not pop in and take a look? Entry: £1 for adults, free for children.
This event is a fundraiser for the All Saints’ Church “disappearing roof” appeal.
