Once again, we have a Bank Holiday Monday coming up. Last one for a while!
The shop will be closed, but papers will be out in the rack first thing.
We would also like to offer to sell villagers’ surplus fruit and veg again in the shop, with donations going to Cancer Research. Having said that, Rob Reed has informed us that it’s an awkward time of the year for produce, so we’re looking towards June/July for it to really get going. If you do have any surplus produce that you can drop in to the shop, that would be marvellous – or, if you’re not a veggie grower, then please do pop in and make a donation for locally grown fresh fruit and veg.
We’ve had some glorious weather lately and we’ve been busy in the garden sprucing up the garden furniture, readying it for some fun Skye’s Bar Friday evenings.
Fingers crossed we get more perfect weather for drinks in the garden!
