Letters are being sent to local residents, providing notification of the forthcoming National Grid works and contact details for any enquiries. Please note that in the letter the dates for the work in September are different to the ones originally quoted in the previous email, as Somerset Council has said the first week of September clashes with other works.
It has been decided that work will start on Ranscombe Road initially. You will be updated via village email as and when they move onto the next road.
In addition to the diversion routes sent out in the previous email, click here to see a map of the whole work zone broken down into one map, with each road labelled to correspond with the diversion route letters sent on the previous email (Diversion A, B, C, etc).
The Council have also stipulated the National Grid avoid 24th – 26th June and 8th – 12th July, due to conflicting works:
