National Grid will be closing the road outside the Villagers’ Stores on Monday 14th July for one day only (unless they hit real problems, in which case they may need an extra day. You will be informed if that happens). This is because they have had to wait until the scaffolding was removed from the house under renovation before replacing the telegraph pole there.
Following that they will not be fully blocking any of the roads. The team have a few areas of work to complete but they can be done with the traffic flowing as normal.
Therefore there will be no more road closures or diversions from Wednesday 16th at the latest, and everything will be back to normal until they return in September for Stage 2 of the project.
