It is that time of the year again when hedges on the roadside need trimming. Somerset Council have been through the parish roads (non domestic) and cut one line with the hedge trimmer, and the parish council have paid for a second, higher cut in the areas which are very narrow with the worst visibility. It is the responsibility of householders to cut their roadside hedges for the safety of road users, pedestrians and vehicles.
This message is being put on the website as there have been concerns expressed by parishioners about the width and safety of our roads.
