Ranscombe Road will be closed today as the National Grid team attempt to complete the pole removals and BT wire transfers.
All the other poles have had their wires transferred and the old ones removed, apart from a couple in Fairgarden Road where work has been hampered by parked cars. The team are asking people to avoid park next to telegraph poles which have an old pole next to them today (Thursday), so that they can complete the works.
