The village shop and Post Office will be closed this coming Wednesday and Thursday. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you once again for all for your support and understanding.
I’m afraid the shop stock will be particularly low this week, as a lot of our usual deliveries are on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The bread will be in as normal on Monday and Friday and I’ll get a small order in from Jen’s Pantry on Tuesday for all you quiche and tray-bake lovers.
Stock levels will get back up to normal throughout the following week.
Nicky and Paul have kindly offered to put pre-ordered newspapers in the rack on Wednesday and Thursday. If the weather is wet or windy, I would suggest picking them up sooner rather than later. They should be out by 8.30 am.
I also wanted to add, if any of you who met my lovely brother Nick would like to come and raise a glass to him, we will be doing so at Skye’s Bar this coming Friday.
