We would like to thank Jim Horrobin for his inspirational talk on his six decades of blacksmithing on Exmoor. The talk was beautifully prepared by Gabrielle, and the wonderful illustrations of Jim’s work truly wowed his audience. We felt privileged to have such talent in our midst.
Around 60 people attended and £323 was raised for the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. We were all really pleased to receive a complimentary copy of the book ‘The Making of the Churchill Memorial Screen at St Paul’s Cathedral.’ It will be a fitting reminder of yet another lovely village evening.
