National Grid will coming today (Tuesday 4th November) to remove the two remaining disused poles in Lower Town and cut back any stumps which residents have requested be reduced. Could any cars that may be close to the poles please be moved elsewhere, as they will not remove the poles if there are obstructions.
Please note there may be some delays in Lower Town while the removals are taking place. The timing of any obstruction cannot be accurately predicted. National Grid apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
